What You Like About Your Sin
We have all said what we wish the assassin had, but what do you love about yours that keeps you playing it. They could be improved, yes, but what do you think makes them different(and perhaps better) in what they do then say a W/A.
For me, I simply love teleporting, poping in at that worst moment, and killing the target. I also love the character animations and the feel of it when I play. I say goodjob a-net, this is a truly fun class that could use some adjustment. But lets not talk about that here, that thread is also on the first page of the forum .

Teleporting and their lovely selection of anti kiting skills, including teleporting

I like the combos. there is nother better than being able to put out so much damage (and conditions) in a short amount of time leaving the enemy dead before they have time to react.
^^don't flame with warrior with eviserate+pen+exe that takes time to build up addrenaline. Assassins just go in and kill right from the get go.

Same here . I love using shameful fear. I was trying out the deadly arts yesterday and they were fun, but sorta limited .

I've tried a sword build with my assassin, and for some reason, even though the swords have more damage-per-hit and the skills have roughly the same +damage, I always ended up doing atleast 20 less damage with swords than with daggers
I guess I like the damage of daggers, and that the skills apparently have secret armor penetration.

i like the fact that i can shadowstep in, completely deck a person in under 5 seconds, shadowstep out, and leave that person going: "WTF just happened" on the ground.
i like the fact that my assassin is a true "difference maker" in almost any situation. for example, i managed to bring kunnavang down to a tiny sliver of health by myself while my party was dealing with the spores, and single-handedly kill 10 people in under 2 minutes in an alliance battle to turn the tide to my party's favour. no other class (save for a very well-played mesmer, perhaps) can hope to achieve that.

I love my repeating strike that when it keeps hitting, will never run out of energy ( Everthorn's Chakrams( zealous ) + 13+ critical strikes + Critical Eye ftw)

I love AoD. Hitting the GPS button just when AoD casting animation ends makes GPS un-kitable and it looks freaking awesomely cool. Even better with Leaping Mantis because it gives the cripple. It's just the feeling when the guy running away knows he's doomed when you appear next to him.

I love two things about my assassin.
1. Aura of displacement. Zap HACKSLASH Zap...wtf happened? *stares at corpse*
2. No matter how much life you have, you can kill anything as long as you surprise ppl. Nothing like needing no one to heal you because you warp in, kill and warp out before being noticed.

the good-old GPS->horns of the ox->falling spider->twisting fangs combo.
kuunavang was pretty stupid. she just floated there, randomly throwing out spores as i wailed away at her. i was too far away from the spores to be affected by them. when she finally noticed me, she had maybe about 50 hp left. she used her dark chain lightning on me and down i go. my guildie scrolled over to kuunie and went: "hey, she's almost dead", and hit immolate. mission accomplished with master's rank.
i was pretty lucky in that alliance battle. the kurziks amassed a huge necro army at the dragon spawn point, with maybe 2-3 groups all clustered there. i managed to catch the MM just as he finished using his sacrificing spells. he had maybe 40% hp left. i went in, used GPS->twisting fangs and decked him. his army went nuts. the kurziks started to scramble around and panicked, and i just went after anyone i saw. since they were all trying to run, every one of my hits was a critical .

what i love about my assasin is its elite skill temple strike, even with its 25-sec cooldown, the daze/blind effect is still worth it, especially against casters. i use falaharn's split chakrams, which has a silencing mod, making the daze duration of temple from 8 secs to 10 secs. casters and healers are rendered useless, not being able to heal and cast etc.
with twisting fangs covering the daze effect, monks/casters dont usually last long against me
